I love my glass liquid barometer! It really works! It gives a clear indication of weather changes and is interesting to check everytime I pass by it hanging on the wall. Stormy weather--the water level climbs up the spout. REALLY stormy weather--the water fills the spout and drips into the attached cup. Clear weather--the water level remains in the bowl. You can tint the water any color (with common food coloring)--complimenting any decor. I have had one for many years and actually made my current purchase to give as a present to a friend who admired mine and wanted one like it!

Product shipped in sturdy packaging. Quality glass, no flaws detected. Product functions as it should. Easy mounting. Instruction sheet says fill to 'fair mark' - There are no markings on the glass or the holder. We purchased this item as a replacement so this was not a problem. Initial users may be confused.

Quite beautiful, and clearly effective. I had to be creative with the mount, as it didn't appear designed as cleanly as the weather glass. But it works quite well and looks great.
