I needed a new mattress after my old mattress got a small hole in it. It was over 15 years old, so I decided that getting a new mattress would be better than patching the old one. The mattress arrived quickly, and without extra packaging which is good for the environment. One thing I didn't like about the packaging is that there is nothing between the box and the mattress. So don't open the box with a knife or you could cut your new mattress.
The mattress was heavy and felt very strong. I feel like it will last a long time. The corners have extra material for strength. I fully expect the mattress to last 15 years, which is better than any normal mattress.
The mattress I got didn't have the bumps on top, like the picture shows. That is OK with me as I didn't want the bumps, but I did want the thicker vinyl.

Hello! I couldnt find where i can ask you. Is the Strobel Organic Water-Mattress Hydro-Support 1 suppose to be on a top of another mattress, so you're sleeping on it. or you have to put a soft one on a top of it?

I purchased this free-flowing waterbed bladder (mattress) to replace the one I'd had for 21 years. The new one is very sturdy-appearing, with slightly thicker walls than the old one. It's very comfortable !!
